Meet Collin Anderson

We’re proud to introduce Collin Anderson — a fourth-generation water well man and a proud resident of Wadmalaw Island. He was out on the rigs lending a hand by the age of six, growing up right alongside his dad and grandfather — who were always talking about Wadmalaw water and its uniquely special nature. Born and raised in Meggett and Ravenel, South Carolina, Collin was homeschooled through the fifth grade before attending the School of the Arts in North Charleston, where a real gift for music led him to study Classical Piano.
After graduation, the rigs came calling and Collin decided to come home to the family trade. He bought a place on Wadmalaw — the very island he’d heard so much about growing up — and has been part of the crew ever since, arriving just a few minutes behind schedule most mornings, which he’ll happily blame on Johns Island traffic.
Away from work, Collin is usually out on the water, boating around the Charleston area or running his SeaDoo near the Cherry Point boat ramp. Back home, you’ll find him with his best buddy Rick James, a friendly Bichon who’s never met a stranger.
A licensed Well Driller certified by the South Carolina Environmental Certification Board (Lic. #D-2462), Collin is proud to be taking the reins of our Wadmalaw Island operation — carrying the same care, craftsmanship, and local roots our customers have come to count on.
Does your plumber or handyman have a Environmental State Certification by SCLLR?
We do, and have since 1991...
Hi, my name is Jody Anderson, the owner of J.P. Anderson Well & Pump LLC.
A lot of folks probably have no idea that opening a sealed water well is illegal unless you’re certified to do so. That’s why it’s so important to be sure they are certified well drillers and that they are bonded and insured...some folks have found out the hard way when their contractor:
- Dropped pump in the well by not having correct equipment. This could cost a new well in worst case scenarios...
- Replaced check valve without sterilizing well. Jet pumps seem simple until you have a bacteria issue caused by dirty equipment and a lack of sterilization techniques...
- Replaced submersible pump and did not install a proper well seal...
We’ve seen it all, and usually the customer is stuck with the bill to fix it...
Do something good for the environment and hire an environmentally certified water well driller today for all your pump and well repair needs...
